Welcome

You don’t have to face things alone

Hello, I’m Emma.

If you’re here, life may feel difficult right now. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to cope on your own. Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know that you do not have to face it alone.

My own experiences have shaped the way I work and the therapist I have become. They have taught me how important it is to feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted, particularly during life’s most challenging moments. That understanding sits at the heart of everything I do.

Whether we meet in the counselling room, outdoors alongside the horses, or through clinical supervision, my aim is always the same: to create a calm, compassionate space where you feel safe enough to be yourself.

I do not believe people are broken or need fixing. I believe our experiences shape us, and that our emotions, behaviours and responses often make sense when we take the time to understand the story behind them.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion and connection rather than judgement. Together, we can begin to make sense of what you are experiencing, recognise your strengths and find a way forward that feels right for you

How can we help?

Everyone's journey is different, which is why we offer a range of services designed to meet people where they are.

Whether you're looking for individual counselling, a different way of exploring challenges through equine assisted therapy, or reflective clinical supervision, our aim is to provide a safe, compassionate and professional space where you can feel understood and supported.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, burnout or simply feeling lost, counselling offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences and move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding.

Equine Assisted Therapy & Learning

Working alongside horses offers a unique opportunity to explore emotions, relationships and personal growth in a calm, non-judgemental environment. No riding experience is needed—our horses become partners in helping us better understand ourselves and develop new ways of moving forward.

Clinical Supervision

Supportive, collaborative supervision for counsellors and helping professionals. Together we create a reflective space to explore your client work, develop your practice and support your wellbeing while maintaining safe and ethical practice.

Wherever you are in your journey, you don't have to take the next step alone.

Why horses?

Why connection?

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: healing begins when we feel safe enough to be ourselves.

Whether I'm working with someone in the counselling room or alongside one of our horses, my approach remains the same. I believe that our thoughts, emotions and behaviours all have meaning, and that lasting change comes through understanding rather than judgement.

Horses have an incredible ability to live in the present moment. They don't judge, criticise or expect us to be anything other than who we are. Instead, they respond honestly to what we bring, offering gentle feedback that can help us notice patterns, build self-awareness and develop confidence.

You don't need to know anything about horses to benefit from equine assisted therapy. There is no riding involved, and the focus is never on learning to work with horses. Instead, the horses become partners in creating opportunities for reflection, connection and personal growth.

Whether you choose counselling, equine assisted therapy or clinical supervision, my hope is always the same: that you leave feeling more understood, more connected to yourself and more hopeful about the future.
